Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Directs assigned personnel and coordinates the activities of the Department of Public Safety in order to provide effective public safety services. Directs the provision of patrol services, investigative services, training services, access control, badging services, parking services and telecommunication services. Ensures operational alignment with strategic PHC objectives. Enforces all PHC regulations, and applicable state and federal laws. Advocates for increased crime prevention, workplace violence prevention, and a secure work environment.

Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
BS/ BA in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Management, or another related field required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Seven (7) years general security, military or other public safety experience and three (3) years of leadership experience required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None
