Description

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for coordinating clinical research projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops and maintains basic competencies required to conduct clinical research including maintaining current training records.
2. Develops, conducts, and facilitates research protocols. Enrolls and manages study subjects and subject encounters.
3. Develops recruitment strategies with study teams.
4. Educations subjects on study related activities.
5. Performs data management activities including data abstraction, collection, source development and reporting.
6. Manages monitoring visits.
7. Manages administrative responsibilities, to include research documentation, research revenue capture and subject payments, etc.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Demonstrated proficiency with the following computer applications: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Outstanding execution skills with ability to meet/exceed goals and deadlines.
Ability to initiate and execute projects independently
Ability to discern the sensitivity of information and materials in order to preserve confidentiality.
Ability to read and interpret complex documents.
Ability to write detailed reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply critical analyses and interpretation in order to successfully assess issues.
Ability to deal with non-routine challenges involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Ability to apply related knowledge and experience and exhibit creativity and latitude in resolving complex and non-routine issues and concerns.


Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in a science or health-related field, or six (6) years of clinical research, healthcare or related field in lieu of degree.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year of experience in clinical research, healthcare, or related field.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
