Shift/Schedule: Full-time
Maintains an adequate inventory of drugs and supplies. Manages inventory in automatic dispensing system within guidelines. Provides accountabilities for controlled substances, determines potential problem areas and follows up on actions. Coordinates interdepartmental, hospital borrow/loan, EMT and other transactions, reconciliations and appropriate payments.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or GED.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two years of pharmacy experience or two years in purchasing/buying required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registration (current) required with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PTCB Certification preferred.
