Description
JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Neurophysiology Technician to join our team. As a Neurophysiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing and interpreting neurophysiological tests, primarily focusing on EEG (electroencephalography) and nerve conduction studies. Your expertise in neurophysiological testing will aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various neurological conditions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform patient chart review and patient interview.
2. Perform lead placement and review impedance.
3. Perform study acquisition of routine, sleep and portable EEGs.
4. Complete documentation of all studies performed, complete monthly reports
5. Communicate with others in the lab, nursing and physician staff.
6. Manage the environment by keeping equipment clean and in working order.

Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate, some college preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Extensive experience in nerve conduction studies is required. EEG experience is preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Poloysomnograhic Tech by BRPT is preferred.
