Description
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures, has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and sedation for patients.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3 years experience in Cath or 3 years exp ICU/Cardiac Registered Nursing
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current Georgia RN license or RCIS Certification
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BCLS and ACLS
