Shift/Schedule: Full-time
JOB PURPOSE: Provides Child Life evaluation, treatment, teaching, and consultation to infant, toddler, latent, and adolescent patients referred for Child Life services. Implements services in accordance with departmental standards and specific hospital protocol.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Child Life or related field is required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of one year of related experience is required. Successful completion of a full-time (minimum 480 hour internship) supervised by a CCLS.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: CPR Certification and current certification through CLC as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree from an accredited program in Child Life or related field is preferred.
