Description
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The assessment, fitting, and product selection for patients, specifically those with edematous limbs from a variety of etiologies. This also includes follow-up and re-assessments as needed. Works in conjunction with physicians, nursing staff and ancillary staff to assess, propose, plan and perform patient care.
Required hours: 6 weekday shifts per quarter.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school degree or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS required certification through AHA. Compression certification preferred from a medical class one vendor. Previous experience in this field is preferred.
