Shift/Schedule: Full-time
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for overseeing and managing the sterile processing areas supporting perioperative services and coordinating the reprocessing of and delivery of items to other areas within the health care organization.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5 years of relevant experience which must include 2 years of team lead or supervisory experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: N/A
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Central Service Processing Certification preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Certified Operating Room Technician Certification in Sterile Processing Management preferred
Experience with process flow, plant/manufacturing operations, assembly line, and/or sterile processing department preferred
