Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provides sedation for patients.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current Georgia RN license or RCIS
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BCLS and ACLS Proficient in scrubbing, sedating, circulating, and monitoring
