Shift/Schedule: Full-time
JOB PURPOSE:
Programmatic initiatives for the Bariatric Surgical sub-service line and assure compliance with Bariatric Center of Excellence certification requirements. Serves as the point of contact for Bariatric treatment throughout the hospital, and works collaboratively with the Bariatric Program Administrator and other key stakeholders on all Bariatric program efforts. Functions as a clinician, an educator, a consultant and a researcher with the primary responsibility for promoting quality care for Bariatric patients. Coordinates and manages care of bariatric patients in order to meet multiple service needs, ensure continuity of care, and eliminate fragmentation of care and services in all settings across the continuum.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or closely-related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to MBS care.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensure as a Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse, Registered Physical Therapist, or Registered Occupational Therapist
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with data analysis, clinical case review and/or research preferred
